After a group discussion we decided the main book prop would be quite large, hardback and old. This is because we want the main book to be a representation of the woman (the subject of the song) and the relationship between the artist and the woman. We got our book from a charity book shop along with another similar book that looked old and had weathered pages which would be torn up and the pages used for set dressing. We also found other hardback books at home which can be used for more set dressing; we wanted these to look different to the main book prop in order to represent the artists other relationships and women and how he will be searching through them to find 'the one'.
