DHB - Selection and Rejection of Photographs

These are some of the photographs we took for our photograph prop within the music video. We have done a selection and rejection of the photos we can use and those that didn't fit into our expectations. 

Rejection:

• This photograph is rejected due to the lighting; flash was used and this has given the whole a setting a harsh reflected light. 

• This photo is rejected because the image is very blurry, and although this could be somewhat rectified on adobe photoshop we wanted the woman to be the focus of the photograph prop. 

• This photo was rejected not only due to the woman being out of focus but also because of the background and miscellaneous items in the setting.

• We rejected this image mainly because of the white light; although we plan to utilize this in our selected pictures for representations and signs, here it is too bright and harsh behind her. The singer is also over exaggerating his expression.

• This one is rejected for multiple reasons; the framing is not too good as part of his head is cut off at the top, although an Over the Shoulder shot was a good idea it didn't exactly work here, and the picture needs to show the woman more.

Selection:

• This picture is one of the selected because the expressions and slightly more focus on the woman is what we were looking for. The framing is also interesting, it helps give the impression of a home album which is also what we wanted.

• This is one of the best photos out of all them, the framing and lighting is very good and the expressions are great. The way the singer is slightly in the dark is great for our representations, same with the woman being more in the light, which links more to our song lyrics. The background can easily be edited to remove the unwanted people.

• This is selected because the focus is clearly on Celine and the expressions are what we wanted. The framing can easily be improved with cropping which would make them look closer.

• This photo is selected due to the framing and the lighting. Although the light behind her head is quite bright we feel that this could be used to portray representations and also link in with the lyrics of 'your silver light'.

• Although this is a strange photo we decided to include this as it is funny and looks a lot like a home album photograph. The framing and light is quite good so it can be used.
